
The creation of today’s mobile marketing and content industry is partly attributable to the pioneering, visionary work and evangelising of the mobile medium by txtNation's founders. Whelan is an entrepreneur, innovator, technologist and marketer with a vast experience in technology services and marketing.
Having driven the concept creation and delivery of hundreds of mobile and e-commerce
projects, Whelan is starting to be recognised as one of the most experienced
marketers in this space.
After co-founding txtNation in 2002, Whelan led its strategy, sales and client services. Whelan was previously with Lightspeed Interactive, Atlanta, Ga, a leading e-commerce and consulting firm, where he worked on front end user logistics and various sales projects. Whelan studied Multimedia Production Technology (BSc) at Plymouth University in the UK.

Rowsell is an acknowledged expert in mobile commerce, the customer champion and operational brains behind txtNation’s huge worldwide success. After a thorough grounding in the foreign exchange banking and finance sector in London, Rowsell decided to turn his attentions to the challenging area of international trade for mobile users and intermediaries. His innovative ideas in client management have stimulated the rapid growth of mobile commerce around the world and assisted in winning the company numerous industry awards along the way.
By reducing time to market for merchants and simplifying the transaction for consumers, Rowsell has increased end user loyalty and created significant revenue growth for clients. In doing so he has enabled txtNation to grow to become one of the leading companies in mobile commerce transaction billing.
Rowsell graduated with honours from the University of Plymouth in Southwest England with a degree in Business Management. He is an authority in this subject matter and provides strategic advice to policy makers, accountants, administrators, lawyers and others, regularly speaking at conferences throughout the world.

Ashley is responsible for ensuring that txtNation continues to foster customer-focussed mobile solutions; to evolve our brand and communicate the advantages of our products online and in print; and to ensure that internal communications and training works in support of our clients.
He obtained a first-class degree in English from the University of Wales and subsequently a research degree. He is recipient of several prizes and scholarships for his research.

Malcolm has extensive accounting experience, managing substantial budgets and
launching hugely successful strategic plans. With a background as an accountant in
large public sector organisations, Malcolm has proven skills in increasing turnover,
optimising inventories, implementing computerised accounting, and managing multimillion pound budgets.
Malcolm has been a senior teacher, business consultant, and worked for many years
as a successful Area Materials Manager before being headhunted as Logistics
Manager for Great Western Trains.
He brings to txtNation a peerless knowledge of financial IT systems, and statistical
and financial analysis.

Becky is responsible for all day-to-day accounting practices. She read for a degree in accounting and finance, specialising in financial management and legislation. She worked in Italy before proving herself at accountancy firms in the UK.
She is a qualified member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and is in process for chartered status.
Becky, who is an invaluable part of the financial team at txtNation, says �my challenge is not only to make sure that our accounts best serve the company and all our clients, but also that the company remains robust and innovative on the international stage.
